Domani sera il Milan affronterà quello che con ogni probabilità è l’appuntamento più importante della sua stagione. Alle 21:00, a San Siro, i rossoneri scenderanno in campo per il ritorno della semifinale di Coppa Italia contro l’Inter. Dopo l’1-1 dell’andata, il discorso qualificazione è completamente aperto: il passaggio del turno sarebbe fondamentale per ridare significato a un finale di stagione altrimenti spento e privo di soddisfazioni.

Sergio Conceição, reduce da una netta vittoria a Udine e da una prestazione con alti e bassi contro l’Atalanta, sembra intenzionato a confermare in gran parte l’undici titolare visto in quelle due gare. L’unica novità dovrebbe riguardare l’attacco, con Tammy Abraham (già due reti contro l’Inter in stagione) favorito su Luka Jovic. Accanto all’attaccante inglese agiranno ancora Christian Pulisic e Rafael Leao.

A centrocampo conferma per la cerniera formata da Fofana e Reijnders, con Alex Jimenez e Theo Hernandez sulle fasce. In difesa spazio ancora al trio composto da Tomori, Gabbia e Pavlovic, a protezione di Mike Maignan. Dalla panchina potrebbero tornare utili Walker e Loftus-Cheek, con il primo che potrebbe anche rappresentare una sorpresa dell’ultimo minuto nella formazione iniziale.

AC Milan probable lineup: Conceição sticks with the same XI, but Abraham to start up front

Tomorrow night marks perhaps the most crucial game of the season for AC Milan. The Rossoneri will face city rivals Inter at 21:00 at San Siro in the return leg of the Coppa Italia semifinal. After a 1-1 draw in the first leg, the tie is wide open. Advancing to the final is seen as essential to give purpose to what has otherwise been a disappointing campaign.

Sergio Conceição, following a convincing win in Udine and a mixed performance against Atalanta, is expected to stick with the starting XI used in those matches. The only expected change is Tammy Abraham starting over Luka Jovic. The English striker, who has already scored twice against Inter this season, will be flanked by the usual wingers: Christian Pulisic and Rafael Leao.

In midfield, Fofana and Reijnders will form the central pairing, with Alex Jimenez and Theo Hernandez operating on the flanks. The defense remains unchanged with Tomori, Gabbia, and Pavlovic in front of Mike Maignan. Walker and Loftus-Cheek return to the bench, and the former could even be a last-minute surprise inclusion in the starting eleven.
