“Fantasma milionario” è il titolo scelto oggi da La Gazzetta dello Sport per descrivere la situazione di Divock Origi, attaccante sotto contratto con il Milan, ormai fuori dal progetto tecnico da mesi ma ancora regolarmente retribuito con un ingaggio di 4 milioni di euro l’anno dalla società di via Aldo Rossi. Arrivato a parametro zero nell’estate 2022 dopo l’esperienza al Liverpool, l’attaccante belga ha un accordo valido fino al 2026 e, al momento, si allena in solitaria a Firenze, presso il centro sportivo Porta Romana.

Durante la conferenza stampa che ha aperto ufficialmente la stagione, Zlatan Ibrahimovic aveva dichiarato: “Origi e Ballo-Touré giocheranno nel Milan Futuro perché non fanno parte del progetto della prima squadra”. Se il terzino senegalese, ora trasferitosi al Le Havre, ha comunque disputato qualche match con la seconda squadra rossonera nella fase iniziale del campionato, il belga invece non è mai sceso in campo, motivo per cui gli è stato negato l’accesso a Milanello per gli allenamenti.

While the Senegalese full-back, now with Le Havre, managed to feature in a few games with the Rossoneri’s second team earlier this season, the Belgian never appeared, which led to his training privileges at Milanello being revoked.
