Kyle Walker non continuerà la sua esperienza con il Milan: ora è arrivata la conferma ufficiale. Dopo gli annunci relativi a Joao Felix, nella giornata di ieri, e a Riccardo Sottil, questa mattina, il club rossonero ha diffuso sui propri canali social la decisione di non confermare la permanenza di Walker a Milano. Sull'account Instagram ufficiale è stata pubblicata una foto del giocatore accompagnata dalla scritta "Grazie" e da un messaggio di saluto: "È stato un piacere, Kyle!". Si tratta del terzo innesto della sessione invernale a non essere confermato.

Giunto nel mercato di gennaio per portare esperienza a una rosa che ne era chiaramente carente, Walker aveva cominciato con buone prestazioni, ma poi alcuni problemi fisici e l’andamento poco brillante della squadra ne hanno limitato l'impatto. Il suo bilancio finale è di 18 presenze senza gol né assist. Ora farà ritorno al Manchester City, che sarà chiamato a trovargli una nuova destinazione.
