"AC Milan è lieto di comunicare di aver acquisito a titolo definitivo, dal Monaco, le prestazioni sportive del calciatore Youssouf Fofana. Il centrocampista francese ha firmato un contratto con il Club rossonero fino al 30 giugno 2028, con opzione per un altro anno."

Foana arriva quindi per una cifra attorno ai 20 milioni di euro, con un importante contratto da 3 milioni circa a stagione. Indosserà la maglia numero 29.
