"AC Milan comunica di aver acquisito a titolo definitivo le prestazioni sportive del calciatore Zachary Christopher Athekame dallo BSC Young Boys. Il difensore svizzero ha sottoscritto un contratto con il Club rossonero fino al 30 giugno 2030.

Nato a Vanløse (Danimarca) il 13 dicembre 2004, Zachary cresce nei Settori Giovanili svizzeri tra Servette e Meyrin. Nel 2022 passa al Neuchâtel Xamax, con cui debutta nel calcio professionistico e totalizza 51 presenze e 2 reti, prima di trasferirsi allo Young Boys, con cui colleziona 47 presenze e 1 gol.

Difensore anche della Nazionale elvetica U21, Zachary Athekame indosserà la maglia rossonera numero 24."

"AC Milan announces that it has acquired, on a permanent basis, the sporting services of footballer Zachary Christopher Athekame from BSC Young Boys. The Swiss defender has signed a contract with the Rossoneri Club until June 30, 2030.

Born in Vanløse (Denmark) on December 13, 2004, Zachary developed in the Swiss youth systems of Servette and Meyrin. In 2022, he moved to Neuchâtel Xamax, where he made his professional debut and collected 51 appearances and 2 goals, before transferring to Young Boys, with whom he made 47 appearances and scored 1 goal.

Also a defender for the Swiss U21 National Team, Zachary Athekame will wear the number 24 Rossoneri shirt."
