UFFICIAE: BOLOGNA MILAN NON SI GIOCA. THEO E REIJNDERS OUT COL NAPOLI

Ufficiale. Domani Bologna Milan non si giocherà. La partita è rinviata a data da destinarsi, con un calendario fittissimo che non prevede al momento date per poter recuperare il match.

Così ha parlato pochi minuti fa il presidente del Milan Paolo Scaroni: "Il sindaco ha vietato la partita a porte chiuse. Non ho capito perché. Rinviata ufficiale"

Vince così la linea del Sindaco di Bologna e del Bologna stesso che avevano chiesto di rinviare la partita per giocarla con i tifosi. A nulla sono valse le opzioni messe sul piatto.

Rifiutata sia la partita a porte chiuse, sia lo svolgimento con i tifosi in un'altra città (Empoli e Como tra le opzioni).

Theo Hernandez e Reijnders non sconteranno il loro turno di squalifica e non potranno quindi giocare nell'infrasettimanale nel big match contro il Napoli.

Negli ultimi due giorni se ne sono sentite di tutti i colori: dalla difficile mobilità in Bologna per i danni del recente maltempo, al rispetto e solidarietà nei confronti dei tifosi per le difficoltà che stanno vivendo in questo momento (gli stessi tifosi regolarmente in trasferta mercoledì scorso in Champions).

In tutto ciò però una certezza: il Milan ancora una volta subisce una decisione controversa e che ha del clamoroso. A oggi il Milan nelle sedi opportune non ha la posizione di poter fare la voce grossa, e l'essere o non essere una società forte passa anche (e soprattutto) da queste cose.

Official. Tomorrow’s Bologna-Milan game will not be played. The match has been postponed to an undetermined date, as the packed schedule offers no available dates, at least until the new year.

Milan’s president Paolo Scaroni spoke just minutes ago: “The mayor has banned the game from being played behind closed doors. I didn’t understand why. Officially postponed.”

This decision aligns with the stance of the Bologna Mayor and the Bologna team itself, both of whom had requested to reschedule the game to allow fans to attend. None of the proposed alternatives were accepted.

Both options were rejected: playing behind closed doors or holding the match in another city (with Empoli and Como among the possibilities).

Theo Hernandez and Reijnders will not serve their suspension and, therefore, will not be able to play in the mid-week showdown against Napoli.

In the last two days, we’ve heard all kinds of explanations, from the difficulty of moving around Bologna due to recent storm damage, to showing respect and solidarity toward fans facing hardships at the moment (although these same fans are all set to attend an away game in the Champions League on Wednesday).

But one thing is certain: Milan once again suffers a controversial and shocking decision.
