Secondo quanto riportato dai colleghi del The Telegraph, il Manchester City guidato da Pep Guardiola avrebbe messo nel mirino Tijjani Reijnders, centrocampista olandese del Milan. Reduce da una stagione in cui ha messo a referto 15 reti e 3 assist in tutte le competizioni – e il conteggio potrebbe non essere finito – era prevedibile che l'olandese attirasse l’attenzione dei top club europei, specialmente alla luce della mancata qualificazione del Milan alla prossima edizione della Champions League.

Tra le pretendenti, sembrerebbero proprio i Citizens i più interessati al giocatore. La valutazione fatta dal club rossonero supera quella incassata nell’estate del 2023 per la cessione di Sandro Tonali, ovvero circa 60 milioni di euro. Sempre secondo The Telegraph, un’eventuale cessione dell’olandese potrebbe diventare la più redditizia nella storia del Milan, superando addirittura i 67 milioni ottenuti nel 2009 per il trasferimento di Ricardo Kakà al Real Madrid.

Following a season in which the Dutchman has already recorded 15 goals and 3 assists across all competitions—with the tally still rising—it was only natural he’d catch the eye of Europe’s elite clubs, particularly with Milan missing out on next season’s Champions League.

Among the suitors, the Citizens appear to be the most keen. The Rossoneri are said to value Reijnders even higher than the fee they received for Sandro Tonali in summer 2023, which was nearly €60 million.
