SCARONI: "ULTRAS? VOGLIAMO STADI PER FAMIGLIE. IN INGHILTERRA GLI HOOLIGANS SONO SPARITI"

Queste le parole del Presidente del Milan Paolo Scaroni, riguardo il tifo organizzato e i problemi interni allo stadio di San Siro:

"Ultras? Questo è un problema che abbiamo, Milan e Inter. Forse ce l'hanno anche gli altri clubs in italiana, ma la magistratura si è focalizzata sulle nostre curve. Io devo solo ringraziare la magistratura perché noi vogliamo che i nostri stadi diventino il luogo di divertimento delle famiglie, e l'ultima cosa che vogliamo è avere convivenze criminali nel nostro stadio. Quindi approfittiamo di quest'occasione delle imposizione che vengono dalla Magistratura per fare pulizia. La stiamo facendo ogni giorno, naturalmente monitorando gli accessi. Faremo riconoscimento facciale sugli accessi allo stadio. Faremo tante cose per assicurarci che non entrino allo stadio né i violenti né i criminali naturalmente. E questo poi è il primo passo. Poi quando avremo il nuovo stadio faremo il passo decisivo, perché anche seguendo l'esempio dell'Inghilterra. In Inghilterra gli hooligans sono spariti quando sono stati costruiti i nuovi stadi, e io sono convinto che anche per noi la creazione di un nuovo stadio sarà un passaggio epocale".

"Ultras? This is a problem that both Milan and Inter are facing. Perhaps other clubs in Italy have similar issues, but the judiciary has focused on our stands. I can only thank the judiciary, because we want our stadiums to become places where families can enjoy themselves. The last thing we want is criminal coexistence within our stadium. So we’re taking advantage of this opportunity—of the measures imposed by the judiciary—to clean things up.

We're doing this every day, naturally by monitoring access. We will implement facial recognition at stadium entrances. We’ll take many steps to ensure that neither violent individuals nor criminals are allowed in. And this is just the first step.

Then, when we have a new stadium, we’ll make the decisive move—following the example of England. In England, hooligans disappeared when new stadiums were built, and I’m convinced that for us too, the creation of a new stadium will be a turning point."
