SALA: "SU SAN SIRO C'È UN PARTITO CHE HA L'1% E CHE VUOLE CONTESTARE TUTTI"

Giuseppe Sala, sindaco di Milano, torna a parlare del futuro di San Siro, dopo la notizia dell’apertura di un fascicolo di indagine: “È un atto dovuto, quando c’è una denuncia dei cittadini. Diciamo le cose come stanno, stiamo parlando di un modello 45, cioè il registro di atti non costituenti notizia di reato.

Si parla de prezzo a cui venderemo San Siro. Punto uno: la valutazione l’abbiamo fatta fare all’Agenzia delle Entrate, quindi un organismo dello Stato. Non so a chi altro avremmo potuto farla fare… non so, chiedevamo alla Nasa? Oggettivamente più dell’Agenzia delle entrate non c’è nessuno titolato.

Punto due. Rispetto a illazioni che leggo, la possibilità che col denaro pubblico si contribuisca alle spese per la demolizione e ricostruzione di San Siro, da zero a cento è pari a zero. Non c’è alcuna possibilità. Rispetto alla questione delle bonifiche, al di là che nessuno sapeva cosa si dovesse fare e che nessuno ha mai fatto carotaggi, ogni volta che si cede un’area a Milano c’è un tema di bonifiche che va verificato. Oggi noi non lo sappiamo.

Il tema mi pare sia un altro. C’è un partito, tutto virtuale, di signori del no, che non si candidano altrimenti prenderebbero l’uno per cento, che vogliono condizionare l’amministrazione e il sindaco. Il sindaco in nove anni ho dimostrato che non si fa condizionare e non si farà mai condizionare. Se poi i milanesi tra due anni preferiranno un sindaco che ha paura della sua ombra e non fa un tubo, sceglieranno loro. Detto ciò, credo che chiederemo un incontro a Corte dei Conti e Procura: sarebbe utile avere anche l’Agenzia delle Entrate, che ha fatto la valutazione”.

“It’s a necessary act when there is a citizen complaint. Let’s be clear about what’s happening: we are talking about a ‘Model 45’ case, which means a registry of acts that do not constitute a crime report.

There is talk about the price at which we will sell San Siro. Point one: the valuation was carried out by the Revenue Agency, a state institution. I don’t know who else we could have asked… what, should we have consulted NASA? Objectively, there is no one more qualified than the Revenue Agency.

Point two. Regarding the speculations I’ve read, the possibility of using public money to contribute to the costs of demolishing and rebuilding San Siro is exactly zero. There is no chance. As for the issue of land remediation, beyond the fact that no one knew what needed to be done and that no soil tests have ever been conducted, every time an area is transferred in Milan, remediation is a matter that needs to be verified. Today, we simply do not know.

But I think the real issue is another. There is a completely virtual party made up of the ‘gentlemen of no,’ who don’t run for office—because if they did, they’d get 1%—but they want to influence the administration and the mayor. In nine years, I have proven that I do not let myself be influenced, and I never will. If, in two years, the people of Milan prefer a mayor who is afraid of his own shadow and does absolutely nothing, they will make their choice. That said, I believe we will request a meeting with the Court of Auditors and the Prosecutor’s Office; it would also be useful to involve the Revenue Agency, which conducted the valuation.”
