Si sa che gli ultimi giorni di mercato sono quelli che regalano i colpi più inaspettati.

Ebbene, anche al quarto piano di Casa Milan non deve essere sfuggita la difficoltà dei rossoneri in fase offensiva, con uno Jovic non adatto a partire da titolare ma piuttosto utile a partita in corso, e un Morata che in caso di qualche problema fisico rischia di lasciare pericolosamente scoperto il ruolo di prima punta titolare.

Da qui l'idea di uno scambio tra esuberi. Da una parte Tammy Abraham, punta classe 1997 della Roma, e dall'altra Alexis Saelemaekers, esterno offensivo classe 1999 tornato al Milan dopo il mancato (e inaspettato) riscatto da parte del Bologna.

I club trattano. La richiesta della Roma dovrebbe essere scambio dei giocatori più conguaglio (Gianluca Di Marzio parla di una cifra vicina ai 7mln di euro) a favore del club giallorosso.

La sensazione è che la trattativa spedita. Questione di giorni, o addirittura di ore.

The final days of the transfer window are known for delivering the most unexpected deals.

Well, it seems that even on the fourth floor of Casa Milan, the Rossoneri's offensive struggles haven't gone unnoticed. With Jovic not suited to start but rather useful as a substitute, and Morata potentially leaving the main striker position dangerously uncovered in case of any physical issues, a solution was needed.

Hence the idea of an exchange of surplus players. On one side, there's Tammy Abraham, Roma's striker born in 1997, and on the other, Alexis Saelemaekers, the offensive winger born in 1999, who returned to Milan after Bologna's unexpected decision not to exercise the purchase option.

The clubs are in negotiations. Roma's request reportedly includes a player swap plus a cash adjustment (Gianluca Di Marzio mentions a figure close to €7 million) in favor of the Giallorossi.

The deal seems to be progressing quickly. It could be a matter of days, or even hours.
