La nomina di Fabio Paratici come nuovo direttore sportivo del Milan sembrava cosa fatta, salvo saltare incredibilmente nelle prime ore di questa mattina. Il motivo? Alcune clausole contrattuali che il club rossonero vorrebbe inserire, legate al procedimento penale che coinvolge l’ex dirigente di Juventus e Tottenham.

Paratici è infatti in attesa del verdetto dell’inchiesta Prisma sulle plusvalenze, inchiesta che gli è già costata un’inibizione di 30 mesi in ambito sportivo. La sentenza, attesa per il 15 aprile, potrebbe non essere definitiva, rendendo incerti i tempi per una decisione conclusiva. Proprio per questo il Milan avrebbe chiesto una clausola di uscita nel contratto, per tutelarsi in caso di ulteriori sviluppi negativi.

A complicare ulteriormente la trattativa è intervenuta anche una crescente pressione mediatica legata alla squalifica di Paratici, che ha spinto la società a fare un passo indietro.

Alla luce di questi sviluppi, il percorso tra Milan e Paratici sembra già essersi totalmente interrotto.

Da via Aldo Rossi, infatti, il club si sta preparando a riaprire il casting per il ruolo di direttore sportivo.

Tra i nomi tornati in auge ci sono quelli di Igli Tare, ex Lazio, e Tony D’Amico, attualmente all’Atalanta. Quest’ultimo, in particolare, pare essere molto apprezzato dall’amministratore delegato Giorgio Furlani. Tuttavia, il suo contratto con la società bergamasca complica un eventuale trasferimento.

In ogni caso, la scelta del nuovo ds non appare imminente.

The appointment of Fabio Paratici as the new sporting director of AC Milan seemed like a done deal, but according to a report from MilanNews.it this morning, the deal has virtually fallen through. The reason? Certain contractual clauses the Rossoneri want to include, linked to the ongoing legal proceedings involving the former Juventus and Tottenham executive.

Paratici is currently awaiting the verdict in the Prisma investigation into capital gains, which has already resulted in a 30-month ban from sporting activities. The ruling, expected on April 15, may not be final, potentially delaying a definitive outcome. For this reason, Milan sought to include an exit clause in the contract to protect themselves in case of further negative developments.

Adding to the complications, mounting media pressure surrounding Paratici’s disqualification has led the club to reconsider their position.

Given these developments, the paths of Milan and Paratici appear to be diverging. In the meantime, the club is preparing to reopen the search for a new sporting director. Among the names back in consideration are Igli Tare, formerly of Lazio, and Tony D’Amico, currently at Atalanta. The latter, in particular, is reportedly well-regarded by CEO Giorgio Furlani. However, D’Amico is under contract with the Bergamo-based club, making any potential move more complex.

In any case, the decision regarding the new sporting director does not seem to be imminent.
