Queste le parole di Matteo Moretto, ospite al programma Youtube del suo collega Fabrizio Romano, sul rinnovo di Mike Maignan:

"C’è un accordo verbale tra Milan e Maignan, per un rinnovo fino al 2028 e con uno stipendio elevato per quelli che sono i parametri del Milan. Leao, il più pagato nella rosa, percepisce 5 milioni netti più 2 di bonus, Maignan arriverebbe a percepire 5 più bonus: non toccherebbe il punto di Leao. Nonostante manchino solo le firme, il Milan sta prendendo un po' di tempo: primo deve capire il direttore sportivo, secondo ci sono delle riflessioni in corso per quelle che sono le performance di Maignan"
