RAPPORTI TRA ELLIOTT, REDBIRD E MILAN. IL CLUB PRECISA A REPUBBLICA: “ELLIOTT PURO FINANZIATORE”

AC Milan precisa che la proprietà RedBird Capital ha ridotto la quota capitale del prestito concesso da Elliott a 489 milioni di euro, confermando il ruolo di Elliott come puro finanziatore. La sua presenza nel Consiglio di Amministrazione del club si limita a due rappresentanti su dodici.

Per quanto riguarda la gestione di San Siro, la società MI-Stadio si occupa esclusivamente dell’operatività dell’impianto nella sua attuale configurazione e non è coinvolta nel progetto del nuovo stadio, che viene portato avanti congiuntamente da AC Milan e FC Internazionale Milano.

Il Consiglio di Amministrazione di MI-Stadio è attualmente composto da tre membri:

• Francesco Ferrini – Presidente, indipendente

• Massimiliano Catanese – Co-Amministratore Delegato, in quota Inter

• Stefano Cocirio – Co-Amministratore Delegato, in quota AC Milan

Infine, si precisa che Stefano Cocirio, attuale Chief Financial Officer di AC Milan, ha interrotto definitivamente ogni rapporto con Elliott prima del suo ingresso nel club, dopo avervi lavorato per oltre sette anni.

AC Milan clarifies that the ownership group, RedBird Capital, has reduced the principal amount of the loan granted by Elliott to €489 million, confirming Elliott’s role as a pure financial backer. Its presence on the club’s Board of Directors is limited to two representatives out of twelve.

Regarding the management of San Siro, the company MI-Stadio is solely responsible for the current operations of the stadium and is not involved in the new stadium project, which is being carried out jointly by AC Milan and FC Internazionale Milano.

The Board of Directors of MI-Stadio is currently composed of three members:

• Francesco Ferrini – Independent President

• Massimiliano Catanese – Co-Chief Executive Officer, representing Inter

• Stefano Cocirio – Co-Chief Executive Officer, representing AC Milan

Finally, it should be noted that Stefano Cocirio, current Chief Financial Officer of AC Milan, definitively ended any relationship with Elliott before joining the club, after working there for more than seven years.
