Le parole di Conceiçao ai microfoni di Sky nel post partita del derby:

"Ci sono state delle cose positive, altre un po' meno. Ma questo è l'atteggiamento che voglio vedere. I ragazzi sono stati bravi a interpretare quello che avevo chiesto. L'Inter è una squadra forte che crea tante difficoltà agli avversari. Era importante controllare i punti forti degli avversari ed esplorare le loro debolezze. Siamo delusi perché abbiamo perso due punti. Penso che il pareggio sia giusto ma prendere gol così per errori dei giovani costa, anche se ci sta. La squadra ha lavorato, ha fatto una bella partita. Penso che dalla prossima, con il mercato finito, saremo più tranquilli"

Su cosa ha detto alla squadra dopo la partita: "Ho fatto un misto tra le cose positive e quelle che non sono andate bene. Sono cose che restano nello spogliatoio. Quello che conta è che i giocatori accettino il lavoro che proponiamo, perché il tempo è quello che. Dobbiamo avere continuità, che viene anche dalla voglia di giocare. Questa è una cosa non negoziabile: se non c’è la voglia di giocare a calcio, non va bene".

"A livello di dinamiche di gioco – ha spiegato Conceiçao – c’è ancora qualcosa che manca. A volte abbiamo cercato di pressare un po' più alti e abbiamo aperto degli spazi. Sono delle cose che si allenano durante la settimana. È tutto collegato tra la fase difensiva e offensiva. Abraham ha fatto un recupero di palla da cui arrivato il nostro gol. È questo quello che voglio vedere".

Infine, sul cambio nell'intervallo tra Bennacer-Jimenez: "Ho visto che abbiamo sofferto a centrocampo. Ho dato un po' più di muscoli e con Musah abbiamo dato un po' più di equilibrio senza palla".
