PASTORE: “FALLIMENTO UTILE PER CAMBIARE TUTTO”

Nel podcast Fontana di Trevi di Cronache di Spogliatoio, Giuseppe Pastore ha commentato con toni provocatori ma lucidi la settimana nera del Milan, che per lui rappresenta in realtà un punto di svolta necessario.

“È stata la miglior settimana della stagione del Milan. Non scherzo. Fuori dalla Coppa Italia, retrocessione del Milan Futuro in Serie D, esclusione dalle coppe europee. Sembra un disastro, ma in realtà è quello che serviva: azzerare tutto.

In un ambiente sano, questi fallimenti sono occasioni per riflettere, imparare e ripartire. Fino a poco fa si diceva che, con una vittoria in Coppa, sarebbero rimasti tutti: dirigenti, Conceiçao, alcuni giocatori, Ibrahimovic e persino Kirovski, legato alla seconda squadra. Anche un posto in Europa League o Conference avrebbe attenuato il giudizio su questa stagione.

Ora non ci sono più alibi. È un bene. Se il Milan è davvero una società seria, può approfittarne per cambiare dirigenti prima ancora di pensare a rosa e allenatore. La base tecnica c’è, Ranieri ha detto che la rosa del Milan è tra le più forti del campionato. Senza coppe, l’anno prossimo può costruire qualcosa di solido.

Sono ottimista per natura. Credo che il Milan abbia il tempo per liberarsi dei dirigenti incompetenti e arroganti che hanno portato a questa stagione fallimentare. E ripartire con una nuova dirigenza tutta da costruire.”

“This was the best week of Milan’s season. I’m not joking. Out of the Coppa Italia, Milan Futuro relegated to Serie D, and eliminated from European competitions. It looks like a disaster, but it’s actually what was needed: a total reset.

In a healthy environment, failures like these are a chance to reflect, learn, and start over. Until recently, people were saying that if Milan had won the Coppa, everyone would’ve stayed: the directors, Conceiçao, some players, even Ibrahimovic and Kirovski, who’s tied to the second team. Even qualifying for the Europa or Conference League would’ve softened the failure of this season.

Now there are no more excuses. And that’s a good thing. If Milan is really a serious club, this is the time to change the management before thinking about the squad or the coach. The technical base is already strong, Ranieri said Milan have one of the best squads in the league. Without European football next year, they can build something solid.

I’m naturally optimistic. I believe Milan now has time to get rid of the incompetent and arrogant directors who caused this failure and restart with a fresh, clean management team.”
