Parla così il padre di Santi Gimenez, sulla possibilità dell’addio del figlio (che poi non si è concretizzato) dal Milan nelle ultime ore di mercato: “Sono state ore molto confuse. Molto strano che d.s. faccia dichiarazioni del genere prima di una partita. Santi non è mai stato consultato. È un giocatore del Milan e quando le parti si sono riunite lunedì si è deciso sarebbe rimasto” (Radio México).

Ha aggiunto: “Il trasferimento non è avvenuto perché il d.s., l’allenatore hanno detto tutti di no. Il Chelsea non ha cercato Santi, c’erano opzioni dall’Inghilterra, c’erano altre opzioni, anche dall’Italia” (Fox Sports Radio).

Infine ha dichiarato: “Santi è in un club che ama e in cui vuole stare. La verità è che è molto felice al Milan. 10 giocatori sono andati via da giugno a oggi, anche molto importanti, ma ho grande fiducia che farà grande stagione” (@ClaroSports).
