Ai microfoni di RTL 102.5, il sindaco di Milano, Giuseppe Sala, si è espresso riguardo alla cessione di San Siro e delle aree circostanti a Milan e Inter: "Domani la delibera per la vendita di San Siro e della aree intorno all’impianto dovrebbe approdare in giunta perché di fatto, con i club siamo arrivati a un accordo - riporta corriere.it-. Io voglio avere la coscienza a posto, porterò in consiglio la delibera e supporterò l'approvazione, voterò a favore, poi deciderà il consiglio comunale. Il nuovo impianto deve essere pronto per il 2031, perché la Uefa ci sta dicendo che non considereranno Milano per gli Europei di calcio del 2032 se rimarrà San Siro"
