L'affidabile Matteo Moretto ha confermato una notizia che sta girando da ieri sera sui principali portali di calciomercato inglesi: Il Milan è in trattativa per acquistare dal Manchester City il terzino destro Kyle Walker. Per il 34enne è pronto un contratto fino a giugno 2027.

La notizia ha dell'incredibile per diversi motivi: intanto perchè il Milan tornerebbe a lavorare sul terzino destro dopo l'investimento estivo fatto per Emerson Royal, ma anche perchè l'acquisto dall'Inghilterra di Walker bloccherebbe l'arrivo di Rashford.

I rossoneri infatti dispongono di un solo slot per extracomunitari, e sia il terzino del City sia l'attaccante dello United sono da considerare tali. L'arrivo di uno bloccherebbe pertanto quello dell'altro.

A conferma della trattativa, da Manchester sponda City arriva la notizia che Walker quest'oggi non si è allenato con la squadra.

Dall'Inghilterra sono sicuri: "Ibrahimovic si è speso in prima persona. Il Milan vuole chiudere la trattativa a inizio settimana prossima".

E per l'attaccante? Si vedrà. Il destino di Rashford ora è anche nelle mani di Walker. E del Milan, ovviamente.

The reliable Matteo Moretto has confirmed a piece of news that has been circulating since last night on major football transfer websites: AC Milan is negotiating to purchase right-back Kyle Walker from Manchester City. A contract until June 2027 is reportedly ready for the 34-year-old.

The news is remarkable for several reasons: first, because Milan would be revisiting the right-back position after their summer investment in Emerson Royal; and second, because acquiring Walker from England would block the arrival of Marcus Rashford.
