MORATA: "AL MILAN COSE MAI VISTE IN CARRIERA"

Ecco un estratto delle parole di Alvaro Morata alla Gazzetta dello Sport:

"Al Milan cose mai viste in carriera. Prima di diventare un problema ho preferito andare via. Sono successe tante cose, alcune molto veloci, troppo veloci, complicate da gestire per me, però alla fine sono contento. Il problema del Milan? Non lo posso dire. I cambi repentini da un giorno all’altro non sono mai facili. Se inizi a giocare con una mentalità e poi improvvisamente cambi radicalmente ti può andare molto bene oppure no. Magari la nuova strada scelta a inizio stagione aveva bisogno di un po’ di tempo per essere battuta.

Per i 6 mesi che sono stato li posso dire alcune cose: La prima è che non è vero che come ho letto in giro mi sarei pentito della scelta. Mai. È stato un onore vestire una maglia storica come quella del Milan. La seconda è che se è vero che in campionato non eravamo regolari abbiamo fatto belle partite: Abbiamo vinto qui al Bernabeu, col Napoli abbiamo perso per dettagli minimi, bene al derby… Però hanno deciso di cambiare e non c’è molto altro da dire”

Many things happened — some very quickly, too quickly — and they were hard for me to handle, but in the end, I’m happy. The problem at Milan? I can’t say. Sudden changes from one day to the next are never easy. If you start playing with a certain mindset and then suddenly change it completely, it can go really well… or not. Maybe the new path chosen at the start of the season just needed more time to take shape. During the six months I was there, I can say a few things: First, it’s not true — as I’ve read around — that I regretted my choice. Never. It was an honor to wear such a historic shirt as Milan’s. Second, while it’s true we weren’t consistent in the league, we did play some great matches: we won here at the Bernabéu, against Napoli we lost by the smallest details, we played well in the derby… But they decided to make a change, and there’s not much else to say."
