MILAN QUALIFICATO ALLA FINAL FOUR DI SUPERCOPPA

Con la vittoria di questa sera per 5-1 nei confronti del Cagliari, il Milan si qualifica ufficialmente per la Final Four di Supercoppa Italiana.

Le partite si giocheranno a Gennaio 2025 in Arabia Saudita e vedranno affrontarsi Inter, Juventus, Atalanta e Milan.

Oltre alla vincitrice del Campionato 2023/2024 (Inter), il format prevede come partecipanti le due finaliste di Coppa Italia (Juventus e Atalanta) assieme alla seconda classificata del Campionato.

Il Milan sarebbe comunque qualificato anche nel caso in cui dovesse chiudere al terzo posto, sorpassato dalla Juventus già però finalista di Coppa Italia. In questo caso infatti il format prevede che la quarta squadra a partecipare, scalando, sia la terza classificata del Campionato.

Con il terzo posto matematicamente blindato questa sera ai danni del Bologna, il Milan è quindi ufficialmente qualificato.

With tonight's 5-1 victory over Cagliari, AC Milan officially qualifies for the Final Four of the Italian Super Cup.

The matches will be played in January 2025 in Saudi Arabia and will see Inter, Juventus, Atalanta, and Milan face off.

In addition to the winner of the 2023/2024 Serie A season (Inter), the format includes the two Coppa Italia finalists (Juventus and Atalanta) along with the second-placed team from Serie A.

In the event that Milan finishes third, overtaken by Juventus who are already Coppa Italia finalists, the format stipulates that the fourth team to participate would be the third-placed team from Serie A.

With third place mathematically secured tonight against Bologna, Milan is therefore officially qualified.
