MILAN OTTAVO: PRELIMINARE CON IL BARI AD AGOSTO

ll Milan ha chiuso la Serie A all’ottavo posto, davanti al Bologna. Ma i rossoblù, grazie alla vittoria in Coppa Italia, saranno testa di serie nella prossima edizione.

Per questo motivo il Milan dovrà partire dai preliminari. L’avversario sarà il Bari, in gara secca a San Siro ad agosto. La data non è ancora ufficiale: si valuta il weekend del 9-10 o del 16-17 agosto. La Serie A inizierà il 23.

L’ultima volta che il Milan partì dai preliminari fu nel 2015: affrontò il Perugia il 17 agosto e vinse 2-0, gol di Honda e Luiz Adriano. Quell’anno arrivò in finale.

Chi passa tra Milan e Bari affronterà nei sedicesimi la vincente di Lecce-Juve Stabia.

Milan finished the Serie A season in eighth place, ahead of Bologna. However, Bologna, thanks to their Coppa Italia win, will be a seeded team in the next edition.

Because of this, Milan will have to start from the preliminary round. Their opponent will be Bari, in a single-leg match at San Siro in August. The date is not yet official: they’re considering the weekend of August 9-10 or 16-17. Serie A will kick off on August 23.

The last time Milan played in the preliminaries was in 2015: they faced Perugia on August 17 and won 2-0, with goals from Honda and Luiz Adriano. That year, Milan reached the final.

The winner of Milan vs. Bari will face the winner of Lecce vs. Juve Stabia in the round of 32.
