Il Milan conquista una partita complicatissima contro il Napoli guidato da Antonio Conte, agganciando così i campani al vertice della classifica.
In un San Siro tornato finalmente a cantare con la Curva Sud al completo, i rossoneri dimostrano di essere pienamente in corsa per lo scudetto.
La squadra parte fortissimo e trova il vantaggio al 3’ con Saelemakers, servito da un incontenibile Pulisic. Proprio Pulisic, intorno alla mezz’ora, firma anche il 2-0.
Il Napoli però rientra dagli spogliatoi con più energia e accorcia le distanze sul 2-1 grazie a un intervento maldestro di Estupinan, che provoca il rigore e viene espulso direttamente. De Bruyne trasforma dal dischetto spiazzando Maignan.
A quel punto emerge il carattere della squadra di Allegri, che in inferiorità numerica per oltre quaranta minuti soffre, lotta e riesce a neutralizzare gli uomini di Conte.
Determinanti gli interventi tra i pali di Mike Maignan, così come la prestazione monumentale di Luka Modric in mezzo al campo: ancora una volta ricorda a tutti il motivo del suo Pallone d’Oro, mostrando cuore, determinazione e una qualità tecnica che a quarant’anni continua a non avere rivali.
Con questo successo, il Milan balza al primo posto raggiungendo Napoli e Roma a quota 12 punti. La mente è già rivolta a domenica prossima, quando i rossoneri saranno impegnati in un altro big match a Torino contro la Juventus.

Napoli, however, comes back from the break re-energized and finds the 2–1 thanks to a clumsy challenge by Estupinan, who causes the penalty and is shown a straight red card. De Bruyne converts from the spot, sending Maignan the wrong way.
At that moment all the determination of Allegri’s squad comes out: a man down for more than forty minutes, they suffer, sacrifice themselves, and shut down Conte’s team.

With this victory, Milan climbs to first place, joining Napoli and Roma on 12 points. The focus is already on next Sunday, when the Rossoneri will face another big clash in Turin against Juventus.
