Intervenuto ai microfoni di Sky, Luca Marchegiani ha parlato così del Milan

"Il primo gol preso dal Milan è inspiegabile. Vuol dire non avere un'organizzazione tattica. Pavlovic fa un grave errore e non è il primo che commette. Ogni allenatore è diverso: c'è chi allena su certe situazioni difensive, chi invece si affida al talento dei giocatori. Conceiçao al Porto aveva uno come Pepe, al Milan non ce l'ha invece. Il centrocampo del Milan ha gli stessi problemi della difesa. Ai rossoneri mancano giocatori capaci di far essere squadra il Milan. Serve un altro tipo di approccio da parte dell'allenatore. Io ero convinto che il Milan, a livello di qualità, fosse vicina all'Inter, ora non lo penso più. Di questa squadra si salvano solo Reijnders e Pulisic. Non serve un sergente di ferro, ma un allenatore che dia certezze".

"The first goal Milan conceded is inexplicable. It shows a lack of tactical organization. Pavlovic made a serious mistake, and it's not the first one. Every coach is different: some work on defensive situations, while others rely on the players' talent. Conceição had someone like Pepe at Porto, but at Milan, he doesn’t. Milan’s midfield has the same problems as the defense. The Rossoneri lack players who can make the team function as a unit. The coach needs to take a different approach. I used to believe Milan, in terms of quality, was close to Inter, but I don’t think that anymore. The only ones worth saving from this team are Reijnders and Pulisic. They don’t need a drill sergeant, but a coach who provides certainty."
