LA MISSIONE DI ABRAHAM. CONQUISTARSI UN FUTURO IN ROSSONERO

Nel successo netto e convincente del Milan contro l'Udinese, c'è anche lo zampino di Tammy Abraham. Entrato nella ripresa al posto di uno Jovic in grande forma, l'attaccante inglese si è subito messo in mostra servendo l'assist decisivo per il gol di Theo Hernandez. Nei minuti finali è andato anche vicino alla rete personale, ma il gol gli è stato annullato per un chiaro fuorigioco sul tiro-cross di Pulisic.
Il contributo di Abraham non si ferma però a questa partita: l'ex Roma sta mostrando grinta e determinazione, con l’obiettivo di guadagnarsi la conferma in rossonero anche per la prossima stagione.
È evidente che il numero 90 del Milan stia attraversando un ottimo momento. Dopo il gol realizzato in Coppa Italia contro l’Inter, nelle ultime tre partite di campionato ha collezionato un gol (contro la Fiorentina) e un assist (proprio contro l'Udinese). Prestazioni che gli hanno permesso di scalare le gerarchie, superando un Gimenez in difficoltà, anche se deve fare i conti con la rinascita di Jovic, autore di un’ottima prova proprio ieri.
Il rendimento dell'attaccante inglese è stato valorizzato dalla fiducia di Conceição, che lo ha schierato titolare in tutte le gare post-sosta. Contro Napoli, Fiorentina e Inter, Abraham ha risposto presente con due gol e una ritrovata cattiveria sotto porta. Qualità che potrebbero convincere il Milan a puntare su di lui anche per il futuro.
Arrivato in prestito dalla Roma lo scorso agosto, Abraham potrebbe restare in rossonero, ma molto dipenderà dalle scelte del prossimo direttore sportivo, dall'allenatore che verrà e, naturalmente, dalla volontà della Roma, con cui ha un contratto fino al 2027.
Un aiuto in questo senso potrebbe arrivare da Alexis Saelemaekers, che ha già espresso il desiderio di restare nella Capitale. Il Milan chiede circa 25 milioni per il belga: una valutazione che Abraham potrebbe presto eguagliare se continuerà a segnare. In tal caso, non è da escludere un possibile scambio alla pari, che permetterebbe ai rossoneri di completare il reparto offensivo con Abraham e Gimenez, senza ulteriori esborsi.

Coming on in the second half to replace an in-form Jovic, the English striker immediately made an impact by providing the decisive assist for Theo Hernandez’s goal. In the closing minutes, he even came close to scoring himself, but his goal was disallowed due to a clear offside on Pulisic’s shot-cross.
But Abraham’s contribution goes beyond just this match: the former Roma striker is showing grit and determination, with the goal of earning a permanent spot in the Rossoneri squad for next season as well.
It’s clear that Milan’s number 90 is going through an excellent spell. After scoring in the Coppa Italia against Inter, he’s delivered one goal (against Fiorentina) and one assist (against Udinese) in the last three league matches. These performances have helped him climb the pecking order, surpassing a struggling Gimenez — although he still faces competition from a resurgent Jovic, who impressed again yesterday.
The English striker’s performances have been boosted by the trust of coach Conceição, who has started him in all matches since the international break. Against Napoli, Fiorentina, and Inter, Abraham delivered two goals and showed renewed sharpness in front of goal — qualities that could convince Milan to bet on him for the future.
Having arrived on loan from Roma last August, Abraham could remain with Milan, but much will depend on the decisions of the next sporting director, the future coach, and of course, Roma’s intentions, as he is under contract with them until 2027.
Helping his case could be Alexis Saelemaekers, who has already expressed a desire to stay in the capital. Milan is asking around €25 million for the Belgian — a valuation Abraham could soon match if he continues scoring. In that case, a possible swap deal shouldn’t be ruled out, allowing Milan to finalize their attacking lineup with Abraham and Gimenez without further spending.
