JUVENTUS MILAN 1-2. GRAN VITTORIA DI SOFFERENZA

Succede di tutto nella serata di Jeddah.

Sergio Conceicao trova il suo primo successo sulla panchina rossonera in quella che è una tra le vittorie più sofferte della stagione, conquistando cosi la finale di Final Four di Supercoppa Italiana.

A onor del vero la partita comincia subito male, con i rossoneri in difficoltà sia fisicamente che mentalmente. Emblema di queste difficoltà sono proprio due volti storici della squadra: Bennancer (in forte sofferenza dal punto di vista fisico causa il rientro dal lungo infortunio) e uno spaesatissimo Theo Hernandez.

È proprio Theo che al 20' minuto non riesce a chiudere una leggibile palla di Mbangula per Yldiz. Il tedesco controlla indisturbato e a tu per tu con Maignan porta in vantaggio la Juventus al primo tiro in porta bianconero.

Doccia gelata per il Milan, che scottato dal gol preso non riesce a imbastire alcuna azione per tutti i primi 45 minuti.

L'intervallo recita un parziale impietoso: sotto 1-0, nessun tiro in porta, una squadra che sembra assolutamente incapace di risollevare le sorti dell'incontro.

La partita riprende con lo stesso leitmotiv, con Thiago Motta che al 60' si prende addirittura il "lusso" di sostituire Vlahovic in cerca di maggior copertura.

È al 70' però che il match cambia completamente senso, complice proprio un ex rossonero. Locatelli, in netto ritardo, stende in area Pulisic. L'americano non si fa pregare due volte e dagli 11 metri realizza il gol dell'1-1.

Da lì è black out Juventus. Bastano appena 5 minuti, un gran lancio di Maignan e un cross sulla trequarti di Musah. Il pallone dell'esterno americano, deviato maldestramente da Gatti, finisce in porta sorprendendo un Di Gregorio troppo fuori dai pali. È autogol e 2-1 dei rossoneri.

Il finale è sofferenza pura, con un Milan che difende a 11 uomini e che si schiaccia nella propria area. La Juventus però, ancora shockata dal ribaltone, non ha la forza mentale di organizzarsi e provare concretamente a trovare il pareggio.

Il Milan accede in finale. Lunedì sera sarà derby con l'Inter. Una partita da affrontare assolutamente con un piglio diverso, sia a livello mentale sia come disposizione in campo.

Sergio Conceicao's Milan secures its first victory under his management, in what turns out to be one of the most hard-fought wins of the season.

To be fair, the match starts poorly, with Milan struggling both physically and mentally. Symbolic of these difficulties are two key figures of the squad: Bennacer (clearly struggling physically after returning from a long injury) and a completely lost Theo Hernandez.

It’s Theo himself who, in the 20th minute, fails to block what should have been an easily intercepted pass from Mbangula, allowing Yildiz to score on Juventus’ first shot on target.

A cold shower for Milan, who find themselves unable to create any meaningful plays for the entirety of the first 45 minutes.

The halftime score tells the harsh truth: 1-0 down, no shots on target, and a team that seems utterly incapable of turning the game around.

The second half begins in the same fashion, with Thiago Motta even daring to substitute Vlahovic in the 60th minute, seeking even more defensive coverage.

But the match takes a dramatic turn in the 70th minute, thanks to a former Milan player. Locatelli, arriving late, takes down Pulisic in the box. The American doesn’t hesitate and calmly converts from the penalty spot, bringing the score to 1-1.

From there, it’s a Juventus blackout. Just five minutes later, a cross from the halfway line by Musah changes everything. The American winger’s ball, clumsily deflected by Gatti, ends up in the net, catching Di Gregorio, who was way off his line, completely by surprise. It’s an own goal, and Milan takes the lead 2-1.

The final moments are pure agony, with Milan defending with all 11 players and huddling deep in their own box. Juventus, still reeling from the reversal, lacks the mental fortitude to regroup and attempt to equalize.

Milan advances to the final. Monday night will be a derby against Inter—a match they’ll absolutely need to approach with a different mindset and tactical setup.

But that can wait until tomorrow. Tonight, it’s time to celebrate. A good start for Mister Conceicao.
