A questo punto si può dire che l'avventura di João Félix al Milan non abbia dato i frutti sperati. Il talentuoso attaccante portoghese è sbarcato in rossonero grazie al lavoro del suo agente Jorge Mendes, che ha saputo sfruttare anche la presenza di Sergio Conceição sulla panchina. Tuttavia le cose non sono andate come previsto, e il rendimento del giocatore non è stato all’altezza delle aspettative.

E dire che, viste le premesse, si ipotizzava già un incontro estivo tra il Milan e il Chelsea per discutere il prolungamento del prestito di João Félix, con la possibilità di inserire un’opzione per l’acquisto definitivo. Tuttavia, a parte l’esordio promettente contro la Roma, il portoghese non è mai riuscito davvero a lasciare il segno, finendo persino per essere relegato in panchina dallo stesso Conceição nelle ultime partite della stagione.

Secondo quanto riportato da La Gazzetta dello Sport, il destino del numero 79 rossonero sembra ormai scritto. Inoltre, con l’addio praticamente certo del suo connazionale in panchina, appare ancora più difficile immaginare una sua permanenza, che in ogni caso sarebbe stata oggetto di valutazione, visto che finora João Félix non ha fornito prove sufficienti per meritare la conferma. Tuttavia, nel calcio le sorprese non mancano mai, e non è escluso che qualcosa possa cambiare nelle prossime settimane.
