Secondo quanto riportato dal Corriere dello Sport, nell’ultima riunione tra la dirigenza del club rossonero e l’agente del laterale sinistro francese è stata confermata una linea precisa: non esiste alcuno spiraglio per il prolungamento del contratto, che scadrà nel 2026. Le negoziazioni non hanno mai davvero ripreso slancio nell’arco dell’ultimo anno, e ora il procuratore del numero 19 ha ricevuto l’incarico formale di trovare un nuovo club interessato.

Una proposta è già arrivata: proviene dall’Al Hilal, che ha messo sul piatto un accordo da circa 18 milioni annui. Lusingato ma non persuaso, il calciatore ha deciso ancora una volta di declinare: il suo obiettivo primario è infatti quello di restare nel calcio europeo, in una grande squadra capace di offrirgli continuità ad altissimo livello. Tra le destinazioni preferite figura il Real Madrid, che ha compiuto alcuni passi preliminari nelle scorse settimane, senza però arrivare a una vera proposta. Anche il Bayern Monaco aveva manifestato interesse in passato, senza mai andare oltre una semplice manifestazione d’interesse.

Il Milan, alla luce della scadenza contrattuale relativamente vicina e di una stagione poco brillante del terzino, ha fissato una valutazione attorno ai 25 milioni di euro. Una cifra accessibile per molte squadre di vertice, ma che al momento nessuno ha ancora formalmente offerto. In via Aldo Rossi si respira un certo senso d’urgenza: il club vuole incassare dalla cessione per poter reinvestire subito sul mercato. L’eventualità che il giocatore resti fino alla scadenza e poi si liberi a parametro zero non viene presa in considerazione dalla dirigenza.

As reported by the Corriere dello Sport, the most recent meeting between the Rossoneri management and the agent of the French left-back revealed a clear stance: there is no room for a contract extension, with the current deal expiring in 2026. Talks have never truly resumed over the past year, and the agent of number 19 now has the official mandate to find a buyer.

An offer is already on the table: it comes from Al Hilal, who proposed a contract worth around 18 million per year. Flattered but unconvinced, the player has once again turned it down: his ambition remains to stay in Europe, ideally with a top-tier club that can guarantee consistent performances at the highest level. Among his preferred destinations is Real Madrid, which carried out some exploratory talks in recent weeks but didn’t follow up with a concrete offer. Bayern Munich had also shown interest in the past, though never moving decisively.

Given the contract’s approaching expiration and the Frenchman’s underwhelming season, Milan values him at around 25 million euros. It’s a price within reach for many elite clubs, but so far, no one has come forward with a formal bid. At via Aldo Rossi, time is ticking: the club aims to cash in on the sale to reinvest in the transfer market. The option of keeping the player for another year and then losing him on a free transfer is not being considered by the management.
