Il saluto (con qualche sassolino tolto dalla scarpa) di Theo Hernandez al Milan:

"Dopo sei anni in questo club, è arrivato il momento di dire addio.

Sono arrivato al Milan nel 2019 con sogni, voglia e l’entusiasmo di indossare una maglia ricca di storia. Oggi me ne vado dopo aver vissuto momenti indimenticabili, come la vittoria della Serie A e della Supercoppa Italiana, e soprattutto dopo aver condiviso lo spogliatoio con persone straordinarie.

Grazie di cuore ai miei compagni, a ogni allenatore che ha creduto in me, e in particolare a Paolo Maldini, per la sua vicinanza, visione e leadership.
E grazie alla tifoseria rossonera, che è sempre stata presente, nei momenti belli e in quelli difficili. Sentire il vostro sostegno è stato un privilegio che non dimenticherò mai e che porterò per sempre nel cuore.

La mia decisione di andarmene non è stata facile. Ho sempre saputo dove volevo stare, e il Milan è sempre stata la mia priorità. Ma, purtroppo, non tutto dipende da una sola persona. La direzione che ha preso il club e alcune decisioni recenti non rispecchiano i valori né l’ambizione che mi hanno portato qui. È il momento di chiudere un capitolo e iniziarne un altro, diverso, ma altrettanto importante per me.

Me ne vado a testa alta, perché ho sempre dato tutto per questo club, impegnandomi al massimo e condividendo gli stessi sogni di questa tifoseria. Me ne vado con il cuore pieno, e con la speranza che molto presto il Milan torni al posto che merita. Milano sarà sempre parte di me.

"After six years at this club, the time has come to say goodbye.

I arrived at Milan in 2019 full of dreams, ambition, and the excitement of wearing a shirt rich in history. Today, I leave after experiencing unforgettable moments, such as winning the Serie A title and the Italian Super Cup, and above all, after sharing the locker room with extraordinary people.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to my teammates, to every coach who believed in me, and especially to Paolo Maldini, for his support, vision, and leadership.
And thank you to the Rossoneri fans, who were always there – in the good times and the difficult ones. Feeling your support was a privilege I will never forget and will always carry in my heart.

My decision to leave was not an easy one. I always knew where I wanted to be, and Milan was always my priority. But unfortunately, not everything depends on just one person. The direction the club has taken and some recent decisions no longer reflect the values or ambition that brought me here. It’s time to close one chapter and begin another, different, but just as important for me.

I leave with my head held high, because I always gave everything for this club, committing myself fully and sharing the same dreams as its fans. I leave with a full heart and with the hope that Milan will very soon return to the place it deserves. Milan will always be a part of me.
