Si è conclusa positivamente la lunga trattativa per Ardon Jashari, e con l’accordo per Athekame ormai vicino alla definizione con lo Young Boys, il Milan sta concentrando gli sforzi sull’ultimo obiettivo di peso del proprio mercato estivo 2025. L’intenzione è chiara: serve un altro centravanti da affiancare a Santiago Gimenez. Il forte interesse per Dusan Vlahovic non è mai stato un segreto, ma le difficoltà che circondano l’operazione hanno spinto il club rossonero a rilanciare con decisione la pista che porta a Rasmus Hojlund. Non solo come opzione teorica, ma anche a livello operativo: in queste ore, infatti, la scena si è spostata in Inghilterra, dove – attraverso emissari – il Milan e il Manchester United stanno valutando le reali possibilità di chiudere l’affare. Un lavoro di preparazione che potrebbe portare a sviluppi concreti nel weekend, quando la squadra rossonera sarà impegnata prima a Dublino (sabato) e poi a Londra (domenica) per gli ultimi test amichevoli contro Leeds e Chelsea.

La situazione di Hojlund, rispetto a quella di Vlahovic, appare decisamente più gestibile. I motivi principali sono due: il reparto offensivo dello United è più affollato rispetto a quello della Juventus – ancor più in caso di arrivo di Benjamin Sesko – e l’ingaggio del danese si attesta sui tre milioni di euro l’anno, un quarto rispetto allo stipendio percepito attualmente dal serbo. Reduce da una stagione difficile e al di sotto delle aspettative, Hojlund tornerebbe volentieri in Serie A e ha già manifestato apprezzamento per la destinazione rossonera. La formula su cui punta il Milan è quella del prestito con diritto di riscatto, che dovrebbe aggirarsi sui 30-35 milioni di euro. Potrebbero quindi essere queste le ore decisive per un’accelerazione. In origine, il Milan aveva previsto di risolvere la questione attaccante nella seconda metà di agosto, quando l’operazione Vlahovic potrebbe rivelarsi più accessibile (specialmente in caso di un ritorno di Kolo Muani alla Juventus). Tuttavia, il tempo stringe e non ci sono certezze che lo scenario diventi davvero più favorevole. Da qui la scelta netta di virare su Hojlund.

The strong interest in Dusan Vlahovic has never been a secret, but the complexities surrounding that move have led the Rossoneri to decisively shift their focus to Rasmus Hojlund. Not just in theory, but through practical steps: the negotiations have now moved to England, where – via intermediaries – AC Milan and Manchester United are exploring the concrete margins and possibilities for closing the deal. This early groundwork could lead to key developments over the weekend, when Milan will be in Dublin (Saturday) and then in London (Sunday) for their final pre-season friendlies against Leeds and Chelsea.

Compared to Vlahovic, the Hojlund situation is clearly less complex. There are two main reasons: the United forward line is more crowded than Juventus’ (especially if Benjamin Sesko joins), and the Danish striker earns three million euros per season—just a quarter of what the Serbian is currently making. After a difficult and underwhelming season,Hojlund would welcome a return to Italy and has already expressed his interest in joining the Rossoneri. The formula AC Milan is pushing for is a loan with a buy option, estimated at around 30–35 million euros. These could be the crucial hours for a decisive acceleration. Initially, AC Milan had planned to resolve the striker issue in the second half of August, hoping the Vlahovic situation would become more manageable (especially if Kolo Muani returns to Juventus). However, time is passing, and there is no guarantee the path will become any smoother. Hence, the firm decision to focus on Hojlund.
