GRAVINA: “IL MILAN È UN ESEMPIO NEL LAVORO COI GIOVANI”

Durante il Social Football Summit Snack all’Arena Civica di Milano, prima della finale di Coppa Italia Primavera tra Milan e Cagliari, il presidente della FIGC Gabriele Gravina ha fatto i complimenti al Milan:

“Il Milan è il club che dà più giocatori alle nazionali giovanili: 31, più dell’Atalanta che ne ha 28. Sarà una coincidenza, ma succede da quando hanno creato la seconda squadra. Il Milan ha fatto una scelta coraggiosa, anche se ora rischia i playout in Serie C. Ha puntato sui giovani, con responsabilità. È la prova che, anche se si rischia sportivamente abbassando l’età media della Primavera, investire nei giovani ripaga.”

Gravina ha anche commentato le voci su un possibile interesse del Milan per Fabio Paratici:

“Ho letto certe ipotesi, ma non è vero che ci sarebbe un’attenzione particolare da parte nostra. Il Milan, come chiunque, può metterlo sotto contratto. Ma Paratici è squalificato fino al 20 luglio 2025 e non può operare fino a quella data, anche se può essere tesserato.”

During the Social Football Summit Snack at the Arena Civica in Milan, ahead of the Primavera Italian Cup final between Milan and Cagliari, FIGC president Gabriele Gravina praised Milan:

“Milan is the club that provides the most players to the youth national teams: 31, more than Atalanta’s 28. Maybe it’s just a coincidence, but this has been happening since they launched their second team. Milan made a bold choice, even though they’re now at risk of relegation playoffs in Serie C. They’ve invested in young players with a strong sense of responsibility. It shows that even if you take sporting risks by lowering the average age of the Primavera, betting on youth pays off.”

Gravina also addressed the rumors about Milan’s possible interest in Fabio Paratici:

“I’ve read some speculation, but it’s not true that there would be any special attention from us. Milan, like anyone else, can sign Paratici. But he is suspended until July 20, 2025, so he can’t operate until then, even if he can be contracted.”
