GIMENEZ: "HO CAPITO LA GRANDEZZA DI QUESTO CLUB, ANCHE SE IL MOMENTO È DIFFICILE"

Dal ritiro del Messico l'attaccante del Milan Santiago Gimenez ha parlato ai microfoni di Atzeca TV Deportes del delicato momento, personale e di squadra, che sta vivendo in rossonero: "Quando sono arrivato in rossonero ho capito la grandezza del club, ma già lo percepivo da fuori. Da dentro lo senti il doppio, è gigantesco. Non viviamo un gran momento, ma mi hanno accolto nella migliore maniera possibile. Sto vivendo un sogno, voglio essere un esempio per far capire che con Dio tutto è possibile. Vivo il presente, mi godo ogni secondo".

A Milano come si trova?
"Come tutti i cambiamenti il primo mese è stato un po' complicato: ci sono cose nuove, strade nuove, tutto è nuovo, anche la lingua ovviamente. A poco a poco, però, mi sto inserendo. Mia moglie mi ha aiutato moltissimo e mi ha lasciato concentrarmi soprattutto sul calcio".

"When I arrived at Milan, I realized the greatness of the club, but I had already perceived it from the outside. From the inside, you feel it twice as much—it’s gigantic. We are not going through a great moment, but they have welcomed me in the best possible way. I am living a dream, and I want to be an example to show that with God, everything is possible. I live in the present and enjoy every second."

How are you settling in Milan?
"Like with any change, the first month was a bit complicated—there are new things, new streets, everything is new, including the language, of course. But little by little, I am settling in. My wife has helped me a lot and has allowed me to focus mainly on football."
