Matteo Gabbia, difensore del Milan, ha rilasciato alcune dichiarazioni a Mediaset al termine della finale di Coppa Italia persa contro il Bologna. Queste le sue parole:

"La sensazione è che il Milan abbia fatto troppo poco…"

"Sì, siamo molto delusi dal risultato della partita. È difficile trovare le parole giuste in questi momenti. C'è molta delusione, rammarico, perché questa è stata una stagione negativa per noi. È stata una serata da dimenticare, che avrebbe potuto essere speciale se avessimo fatto meglio".

Due partite per sperare nell’Europa:

"In questo momento, l'energia è davvero poca. Abbiamo dato tutto quello che avevamo in campo, ma non è stato sufficiente. Ora ci rimangono due partite per chiudere la stagione con dignità e orgoglio. Poi, una volta che la stagione sarà finita, tireremo le somme, ma ad oggi è innegabile. Non si può certo dire che questa sia stata una stagione positiva."

"Yes, we are really disappointed with how the game went. It's hard to find the right words right now. There's a lot of disappointment and regret because this has been a negative season for us. It was a tough night, one that could have been special if we had done better."

Two matches left to hope for Europe:

"At the moment, there’s not much energy left. We gave everything we had on the pitch, but it wasn't enough. We have two games left to finish the season with dignity and pride. Then, once the season is over, we’ll reflect, but as of now, it’s undeniable. We can't say this has been a positive season."
