Oggi Giorgio Furlani, amministratore delegato del Milan, sarà a Miami, in Florida, per partecipare all’inaugurazione del MSC Miami Cruise Terminal. MSC, compagnia navale italo-svizzera, è sponsor del club rossonero dal 2023 e da allora il suo logo è presente anche sulle maniche delle maglie della prima squadra maschile, femminile e della Primavera. Questo è il motivo principale del viaggio negli Stati Uniti del dirigente milanista, che potrebbe approfittarne anche per incontrare Gerry Cardinale.

Nel caso si tenga un incontro, il focus potrebbe essere sugli sviluppi relativi alla nomina del nuovo direttore sportivo. La ricerca è al momento in fase di stallo, dopo il brusco stop nei colloqui con Fabio Paratici. Come riporta oggi Tuttosport: "Furlani, missione Usa. La questione Ds rimane in standby". I principali candidati restano due: Igli Tare, ex Lazio, e Tony D’Amico, attualmente all’Atalanta dopo l’esperienza a Verona. Più defilati, invece, i nomi di Giovanni Manna (Napoli) e Giovanni Sartori (Bologna).
