Le dichiarazioni di Paolo Condò: "Io differenzio le posizioni di Leao e Theo. Il primo ha i soliti problemi già visti in passato di continuità, probabilmente il peso dell’impegno lo avverte in positivo: non è un caso che le migliori partite le abbia fatte contro le grandi squadre. Theo invece sta tirando fuori la peggiore stagione da quando è al Milan: in difesa ha reso completamente indifeso il suo versante ed è tutto l’anno che è così. Quest’anno è ampiamente sotto la sufficienza in difesa e dunque non la raggiunge. Il Milan non è una grande squadra perché la grande squadra è quella che riesce a non fare differenze tra le varie competizioni, giocando alla grande contro tutte. C’è necessità di mercato, soprattutto in difesa: l’acquisto di Fofana non è bastato, ci sono deficienze individuali lì dietro".

"I distinguish between the situations of Leao and Theo. The first has the same consistency issues we've seen in the past. He probably feels the weight of responsibility in a positive way: it’s no coincidence that his best performances come against top teams. Theo, on the other hand, is having his worst season since joining Milan. Defensively, he has completely exposed his side of the field, and it's been like this all year. This season, his defensive performances are far below average and, as a result, he falls short overall.

Milan is not a great team because a great team is one that doesn’t differentiate between competitions, playing well in all of them and against every opponent. The team needs reinforcements, particularly in defense. Signing Fofana wasn’t enough, as there are individual deficiencies in the backline."
