Nel post partita di Milan-Atalanta, Sergio Conceiçao, allenatore del Milan, ha analizzato la partita e il momento della squadra rossonera, facendo anche delle considerazioni sul suo futuro, legato alla Coppa Italia.

"Il primo tempo è stato equilibrato, siamo stati un po' più bassi rispetto a quanto avevamo chiesto e preparato, ma loro non hanno creato occasioni. Abbiamo finito bene il primo tempo, ma poi, nel momento di mettere i giocatori davanti al portiere, non ci siamo riusciti e l'abbiamo pagata. Come nel secondo tempo. E loro, alla prima occasione, sono andati in gol; ne avevamo parlato dei cross sul secondo palo, è una loro caratteristica. Ma è andata così."

Riguardo al passaggio alla difesa a quattro:

"Non è che non mi è piaciuto, ma ho deciso di passare a quattro per provare a pareggiare."

Sulle difficoltà della squadra e la mancanza di cattiveria:

"Per me non ci ha frenato il derby. La partita più importante è quella che si gioca. Di solito chi entra ci dà qualcosina in più, ma anche io ho messo Sottil in una posizione non sua. È mancata quella aggressività che normalmente mettiamo in campo."

E infine, sull'importanza della Coppa Italia per il suo futuro:

"Il mio futuro ahahah… Tutti i giorni parlano sin da Milan-Cagliari di chi viene al Milan, per me va bene, ma per il gruppo con cui lavoro… Loro vedono tutte le notizie e non c'è questa stabilità. Dobbiamo lavorare oggi per provare a essere migliori domani. Non è facile per me, perché non hanno tanto rispetto. Si parla dell'allenatore del Milan come se non fosse mai stato dentro al calcio, ma non è vero. Il mio futuro non dipende da niente. Dipende dal preparare la partita con l'Inter, provando a vincere due titoli, e non so da quanti anni il Milan non li vince. E non è normale."

After Milan's loss to Atalanta, Sergio Conceiçao, Milan’s coach, reflected on the match and the team’s performance, also commenting on his future, which is tied to the Coppa Italia.

Finally, regarding his future in relation to the Coppa Italia:

"My future ahahah... They’ve been talking about who’s coming to Milan since Milan-Cagliari, and I’m fine with it, but for the group I work with… They see all the news and there’s no stability. We need to work today to be better tomorrow. It’s not easy for me because there’s not much respect. They talk about the Milan coach as if I’ve never been in football, but that’s not true. My future depends on nothing. It depends on preparing for the Inter match, trying to win two titles, and I don’t know how many years it’s been since Milan won them. And that’s not normal."

Conceiçao remains focused on the task at hand, with the Coppa Italia providing an opportunity for Milan to turn their season around.
