CONCEICAO: "QUANDO MANCA LA BASE È DIFFICILE. DOVEVAMO ENTRARE PIÙ FORTI"

Sergio Conceiçao ha parlato a Sky Sport al termine della deludente partita contro la Dinamo Zagabria. Queste le sue parole:

Che Milan è stato oggi?

“Tutte le incidenze della partita sono state contro di noi. Nel primo tempo ci è mancata la base del calcio: il calcio è fatto di duelli offensivi e difensivi e di aggressività. Siamo stati così per 20-25 minuti, siamo arrivati poche volte negli ultimi 30 metri. Poi un errore individuale possiamo capirlo, non è un problema. Ma per altro dobbiamo fare così. Poi l’espulsione ha complicato tutto. Quando abbiamo fatto il gol abbiamo cercato anche di vincere e ancora per un errore individuale abbiamo preso il secondo gol. A questo livello qua le partite sono di alto livello, noi dobbiamo rimanere pronti e ad alti livelli”.


Come si allena l’aggressività?

“Dipende dall’orgoglio di ognuno di noi, dall’obiettivo di ognuno per la propria carriera. Poi parliamo di tattica, di sistema di gioco e altre cose. Non ti sto dicendo una novità, dovevamo entrare più forti, più aggressivi nei duelli. Nel secondo tempo mi è piaciuto di più perché abbiamo cercato di vincere, ma non ci siamo riusciti. Ora dobbiamo pensare alla prossima e cambiare questa ambiente. Abbiamo ancora tutto davanti a noi”.

Le difficoltà:

“Io avevo oggi 17 giocatori. Ho messo Tomori terzino destro, avevo 2-3 giovani in panchina, qualcuno non è iscritto, qualcuno è infortuno. Non ho parlato di questo, del campo e né di arbitraggio, che non è al livello della Champions League. Ma non ho parlato di questo perché non mi va”.

What Milan did you see today?

"Everything in the match went against us. In the first half, we lacked the basics of football: football is made of offensive and defensive duels and aggression. We were like that for 20-25 minutes, we got into the final third only a few times. Then an individual mistake is something we can understand, it's not a problem. But for the rest, we need to do better. Then the red card complicated everything. When we scored, we tried to win, but again, due to an individual mistake, we conceded the second goal. At this level, the games are of a high standard, and we need to stay ready and maintain a high level."

How do you train aggression?

"It depends on each person's pride, their personal career objectives. Then we talk about tactics, the system of play, and other things. I'm not telling you anything new; we should have entered the match stronger, more aggressive in the duels. In the second half, I liked us more because we tried to win, but we didn't succeed. Now we need to think about the next match and change this environment. We still have everything ahead of us."

The difficulties:

"Today I had 17 players available. I put Tomori at right-back, I had 2-3 young players on the bench, some aren't registered, and some are injured. I haven't spoken about this, about the field or the refereeing, which wasn't at the level of the Champions League. But I didn't talk about this because I don't want to."
