CONCEICAO: "FUTURO? CONCEICAO NON È IMPORTANTE. LO È IL MILAN E CHE VINCA LA FINALE"

Dopo il successo per 3-1 sul Bologna, il tecnico del Milan, Sergio Conceição, ha rilasciato alcune dichiarazioni ai microfoni di Sky, mantenendo il profilo basso nonostante la vittoria.

“Non abbiamo disputato una prestazione eccezionale,” ha ammesso l’allenatore portoghese. “Ma è anche vero che abbiamo portato a casa tre punti contro una squadra di qualità, che sta facendo un buon percorso. Chi è subentrato ha dato segnali positivi, e questo è un aspetto che mi piace molto.”

Guardando già alla finale di Coppa Italia in programma mercoledì sempre contro il Bologna, Conceição ha commentato così:
“Da domani inizieremo a preparare quella sfida. Serve analizzare ciò che abbiamo fatto bene e ciò che dobbiamo migliorare. Sarà una partita diversa da quella di oggi. Le finali non si giocano, si vincono, anche se non si brilla. Giménez si sta allenando bene. Parlo spesso con lui per trasmettergli ciò di cui ha bisogno. È arrivato con qualche problema fisico ma abbiamo fiducia in tutti. Sono felice per i suoi due gol: gli attaccanti vivono per questo.”

Ancora sull’attaccante messicano:
“Non rivelo mai in anticipo alla stampa chi parte titolare. Mancano ancora alcuni giorni di lavoro. Giménez ha caratteristiche diverse rispetto a Jovic. Abraham ha segnato reti pesanti, e non dimentichiamo nemmeno Camarda. Lo abbiamo scelto per il suo talento, ma la Serie A richiede tempo per ambientarsi.”

Sui cambi effettuati:
“Chi è entrato ha fatto bene, ma questo vale per più di una partita.”

Infine, alla domanda sulla fiducia del club nei suoi confronti, Conceição ha glissato:
“Conceição non conta. Conta il Milan e il fatto che dobbiamo vincere la prossima partita. Per un club come il nostro, conquistare trofei è fondamentale. Non è il momento di parlare di me. Quando sarà il momento, lo farò.”

Following the 3-1 victory over Bologna, Milan coach Sergio Conceição spoke to Sky, keeping expectations grounded despite the win.

“We didn’t play a great match,” he admitted. “But we beat a strong side that’s doing well this season. The players who came on responded positively, and that’s something I really appreciate.”

Turning his attention to the upcoming Coppa Italia final against Bologna, Conceição added:

“I never reveal my starting XI to the press ahead of time. We still have some training sessions. Giménez plays differently than Jovic. Abraham has scored key goals, and we can’t forget Camarda either. We signed him for his quality, but adapting to Serie A takes time.”

On the substitutions:
“Those who came in did well—not just tonight.”

And when asked about the club’s confidence in him, he responded:
“Conceição isn’t what matters—Milan is. Winning the next match is crucial, because for a club like ours, lifting trophies is essential. This isn’t the time to talk about me. When it is, I will.”
