Il Milan ha il destino tra le sue mani. In caso di vittoria contro la Dinamo Zagabria i rossoneri saranno qualificati automaticamente per gli ottavi di Champions League, indipendentemente dal ripotato degli avversari.

In caso di pareggio (e ancor di più in quello di sconfitta), il Milan dovrà attendere i risultati delle inseguitrici nella speranza di vedersi superato al massimo da due squadre.

In caso di pari punti vige la regola della differenza reti.
