BOBAN A SKY: "IL MILAN DEVE TROVARE IL SUO 11 TITOLARE. CAMBIA TROPPO SPESSO"

Intervenuto negli studi di Sky Sport, l'ex calciatore e dirigente sportivo, oggi opinionista, Zvonimir Boban, ha detto la sua sul Milan dopo la disfatta di Rotterdam:

"Il Milan deve trovare una squadra tipo. Ogni milanista, io sento tanta gente, tanti tifosi, che parlano e credono che questa squadra sia stata ideata male, costruita male, che non potesse fare risultati. Bene. Adesso si sta riprendendo un po' la cosa con gli acquisti e si stanno tappando le cose giustamente, ed abbiamo anche fatto i complimenti per gli acquisti. Ma dall'inizio della stagione non credo che il Milan abbia giocato due volte di fila con la stessa squadra. Con tanta nuova gente.

Cioè se tu hai 15, 20 giocatori che da anni funzionano bene, si capiscono, si conoscono. È vero, giochi con loro in allenamento, non è che li metti lì e funzionano. Non è che ad Empoli tu metti lì Musah di là, quell'altro di là, è ovvio che nel primo tempo non hanno funzionato. Nel secondo tempo poi con tanta qualità il Milan ha giustamente vinto. Bisogna scegliere una squadra tipo, un modulo tipo, e poi comunque con leggeri cambi ogni tanto rispetto all'avversario, ovvio".

Speaking in the Sky Sport studios, former footballer and sports executive, now pundit, Zvonimir Boban shared his thoughts on Milan following their defeat in Rotterdam:

"Milan needs to find a settled starting lineup. Every Milan fan—I hear a lot of people, a lot of supporters talking—believes that this team was poorly conceived, poorly built, and couldn't get results. Well, now things are being patched up with the new signings, and rightly so. We've also praised the acquisitions. But since the start of the season, I don't think Milan has played two consecutive matches with the same lineup. There are so many new players.

If you have 15 to 20 players who have been working well together for years, they understand each other, they know each other. It's true, you train with them, but you can’t just put them on the pitch and expect them to click immediately. You can’t go to Empoli, put Musah here, someone else there, and expect it to work right away. It’s obvious that in the first half, they struggled. Then, in the second half, with their quality, Milan rightfully won.

They need to settle on a consistent starting lineup, a fixed system, and then make slight adjustments depending on the opponent, of course."
