ATTENTO MILAN, LE STAGIONI SI PROGRAMMANO DALLA PRIMAVERA

Cosa ci può essere di peggio di una stagione andata male? La sensazione che quella dopo possa subire la stessa sorte.
Prendendo in considerazione le ultime stagioni, il filo rosso che purtroppo unisce gli ultimi anni del diavolo è stata proprio la scarsa programmazione. Questo è un problema che il Milan si porta dietro da troppo tempo, addirittura dall'immediato dopo scudetto.
Nel 2022 infatti, da neo Campioni d'Italia, ci fu subito la telenovela Maldini - Massara - RedBird. In quel caso il duo rinnovò il proprio contratto con il Milan proprio al loro ultimo giorno di lavoro, il 30 giugno 2022.
Nel 2023 accadde l'esatto opposto, con gli allora DS e DT esonerati in fretta e furia al 5 giugno e successivamente non rimpiazzati.
Nel 2024 fu invece la volta dell'allenatore, con un Lopetegui massacrato da tifosi e addetti ai lavori e una dirigenza costretta a rimpiazzarlo in fretta e furia con Paulo Fonseca prima e Sergio Conceiçao dopo.
Come i massimi esperti di calcio insegnano, le stagioni non si programmano a luglio. Se per questo, le stagioni non si programmano neanche a giugno.
Una società forte, competente e preparata, le stagioni le inizia a preparare in primavera, al massimo entro fine aprile. E per farlo ci devono essere tutte le figure necessarie già inserite e pienamente operative nei loro rispettivi ruoli.
È evidente come questa filosofia non sia stata rispettata nelle ultime tre stagioni dei rossoneri, stagioni che infatti hanno visto come principali protagonisti il ritardo, la fretta e l'improvvisazione.
Sotto questo punto di vista, l'ennesimo rallentamento nella scelta del nuovo direttore sportivo non è sicuramente il segnale di cambio rotta auspicabile. Rallentamento causato da un (neanche tanto) piccolo golpe all'interno della dirigenza rossonera.
DS che tra l'altro attualmente vede Fabio Paratici come favorito. Lo stesso Paratici squalificato fino al 30 giugno e quindi impossibilitato a operare ufficialmente entro quella data.
"Impara dai tuoi errori". Mai detto fu più azzeccato per questa situazione. La speranza è che anche in via Aldo Rossi ci sia qualcuno capace di recepirlo in tempo.

What could be worse than a bad season? The feeling that the next one might suffer the same fate.
Looking at the past seasons, the common thread that unfortunately ties together the last few years of the Rossoneri has been poor planning. This is a problem that Milan has been carrying for too long, dating back to the immediate aftermath of their Scudetto win.
In 2022, as the newly crowned Champions of Italy, there was the Maldini - Massara - RedBird saga. In that case, the duo renewed their contracts with Milan on the very last day of their terms, June 30, 2022.
In 2023, the exact opposite happened: the then Sporting Director and Technical Director were dismissed on June 5 and never replaced. Those roles, in fact, remain vacant to this day.
In 2024, it was the coach’s turn. Lopetegui was heavily criticized by fans and pundits alike, and the management had to scramble to replace him—first with Paulo Fonseca, then with Sergio Conceição.
As the greatest football experts teach, seasons are not planned in July. For that matter, they are not even planned in June.
A strong, competent, and well-prepared club begins its planning in the spring—at the latest, by the end of April. And to do so, all the right people must already be in place and fully operational in their respective roles.
It is evident that this philosophy has not been followed in Milan’s last three seasons—seasons that have been marked primarily by delays, haste, and improvisation.
In this regard, the delay in appointing the new sporting director is not a promising sign. A delay once again caused by an internal (not-so-small) power struggle within the Rossoneri’s management.
The current frontrunner for the Sporting Director role is Paratici, who remains banned from football until June 30 and is therefore unable to operate officially before that date.
"Learn from your mistakes." No saying has ever been more fitting for this situation. The hope is that someone at Via Aldo Rossi is capable of doing just that.
