ALLEGRI VUOLE UNA ROSA DA 23 GIOCATORI. C'È UNA ROSA DA SFOLTIRE

Senza l’impegno delle competizioni europee, il Milan non avrà necessità di una rosa numerosa. Anzi, Massimiliano Allegri ha espresso la volontà di lavorare con un gruppo ristretto, formato da un massimo di 23 elementi, inclusi i portieri. L’intenzione è quella di evitare malumori all’interno dello spogliatoio e garantire a tutti un’intensità costante durante gli allenamenti. A riportarlo è La Gazzetta dello Sport, che sottolinea come, con una sola partita settimanale, ci sarà il tempo necessario per recuperare le energie, rendendo così non indispensabile il ricorso al turnover.

SOLO UN RISCATTO – Per ridurre il numero di giocatori, i dirigenti di via Aldo Rossi saranno chiamati a effettuare diversi tagli. Tra i calciatori che erano in prestito durante l'ultima stagione, soltanto uno è stato acquisito a titolo definitivo: si tratta di Pierre Kalulu, ora ufficialmente un giocatore della Juventus. Gli altri sono tornati a Milanello, ma la maggior parte di loro è comunque sul mercato. L’unico che sembra destinato a rimanere è Alexis Saelemaekers, di rientro dalla Roma e particolarmente apprezzato da Allegri per la sua versatilità, dato che può giocare in più ruoli su entrambe le corsie. In lista di partenza ci sono invece Bennacer, Adli, Colombo, Vazquez, Okafor e Pobega. Resta da chiarire il futuro di Morata, attualmente in prestito al Galatasaray fino a gennaio 2026, ma con il desiderio di lasciare la Turchia già nell'estate in corso.

IN USCITA – Sul piede di partenza ci sono anche alcuni giocatori reduci da una stagione al di sotto delle aspettative, che il club rossonero ritiene cedibili. Tra questi spicca Theo Hernandez, che di recente si è mostrato disponibile a trasferirsi in Arabia Saudita, avvicinandosi così all’Al Hilal. Oltre al terzino francese, sul mercato ci sono anche Yunus Musah, in trattativa con il Napoli anche se il dialogo si è raffreddato negli ultimi giorni, Emerson Royal, vicino alla cessione a gennaio scorso prima che un infortunio al polpaccio facesse saltare tutto, e uno o due centrali difensivi: Malick Thiaw e Fikayo Tomori.

ONLY ONE REDEMPTION – To downsize the roster, the management at via Aldo Rossi will need to make several cuts. Among those who were out on loan this past season, only one has been bought outright: Pierre Kalulu, now officially a Juventus player. The others have returned to Milanello, though most are still considered likely departures. The only one expected to stay is Alexis Saelemaekers, back from his loan spell at Roma, and highly valued by Allegri for his tactical flexibility, as he can cover multiple roles on both flanks. On their way out are Bennacer, Adli, Colombo, Vazquez, Okafor, and Pobega. The future of Morata also remains uncertain: he's on loan at Galatasaray until January 2026, but appears eager to leave Turkey already this summer.

ON THE WAY OUT – Also set to leave are several players who had an underwhelming season and are now considered expendable by the Rossoneri. Among them is Theo Hernandez, who has recently opened the door to a move to Saudi Arabia, bringing him closer to Al Hilal. In addition to the Frenchman, Yunus Musah is on the market—he's in talks with Napoli, though that trail has cooled lately—Emerson Royal, who was close to being sold last January before a calf injury stopped the deal, and one or two central defenders: Malick Thiaw and Fikayo Tomori.
