ALLEGRI: "SORPRESO DA JASHARI. GIMENEZ È UN ATTACCANTE: NON DEVE FARE BENE, DEVE FARE GOL"

Massimiliano Allegri ha rilasciato alcune dichiarazioni a Sky Sport dopo il pareggio Leeds-Milan 1-1: “Abbiamo tenuto una bella energia, volevo vedere la condizione dei ragazzi e fargli fare 90 minuti”.

Alla domanda se questa rosa lo avesse sorpreso, ha risposto: “Mi hanno sempre insegnato che i giocatori vanno sempre allenati prima di dare i giudizi. Momentaneamente abbiamo lavorato bene, non bisogna fare troppi pensieri di grandissimo entusiasmo. Dobbiamo lavorare tenendo grande equilibrio, dovrà essere la nostra forza. Il campionato non si vince o non si perde in una partita”.

Su Jashari e Modric, Allegri ha detto: “Grandissimi giocatori con poca intelligenza e con poca umiltà ne ho avuti pochi e nessuno. Per stare ad alti livelli devi essere umile ed essere intelligente. Modric, non sta a me dirlo, è un giocatore straordinario. Jashari mi sono meravigliato per come ha fatto perché ha lavorato poco con la palla e si è allenato quasi sempre da solo. C’è da migliorare e lavorare, da portare avanti condizione fisica e convinzione mentale. Non bisogna esaltarsi troppo, la normalità per il Milan deve essere di vincere le partite”.

Parlando di Thiaw e del mercato, ha commentato: “I ragazzi che ho sono tutti molto bravi, Thiaw è uno di questi. La società sta facendo le sue valutazioni insieme a me e vedremo”.

Infine, su Gimenez ed Estupinan, ha concluso: “Estupinan è cresciuto molto. Quando si cambia paese e campionato… Ha fatto una bella partita, sta crescendo: non avevamo nessun dubbio. Il centravanti più che giocare bene deve fare gol: e oggi Gimenez ha fatto gol, quindi sono contento”.

When asked if this squad had surprised him, he replied: “I was always taught that players must be trained before giving any judgments. Speaking about Thiaw and the transfer market, he commented: “The players I have are all very good, and Thiaw is one of them. The club is making its evaluations together with me and we’ll see.”

Finally, on Gimenez and Estupinan, he concluded: “Estupinan has improved a lot. When you change country and league… He played a good match, he’s growing—we never had any doubts. A striker, more than playing well, must score goals: and today Gimenez scored, so I’m happy.”
