Massimiliano Allegri si è espresso ai microfoni di DAZN dopo la vittoria del Milan contro il Bologna, terminata 1-0. Ecco le sue parole:

Che emozione regala guardare Modric in campo?

“Luka è un giocatore straordinario, è un piacere vederlo giocare, è un ragazzo veramente umile. È meraviglioso, sa dove finisce la palla un minuto primo. Tutti i ragazzi hanno fatto una bella partita, era importante vincere in casa non subendo gol. Nei momenti difficili la squadra è rimasta compatta: in quei momenti è importante non disunirsi e lasciarli passare”

Su Santi Gimenez:

“Ha corso molto, ha pressato. Ha avuto 2-3 occasioni importanti, è vero, ma ci è arrivato poco lucido dopo tutto il lavoro che ha fatto per la squadra. È un bravo ragazzo, è stato molto bravo anche tecnicamente, sono molto contento”.

Il valore del clean sheet e la gestione dei momenti della sfida:

“È un gruppo di ragazzi straordinari, lavorano duro, non si lamento: abbiamo l’obiettivo insieme alla società di tornare a giocare la Champions. Dobbiamo migliorare, non dobbiamo esaltarci, bisogna continuare a migliorare sul piano del gioco, ma bisogna dire che i ragazzi stanno facendo molto bene. Lavoriamo tutti i giorni per migliorarci tutti i giorni”.

Il gesto di togliersi la giacca: cosa è accaduto?

“Niente di che. C’è stato l’episodio del rigore, ho avuto da ridire col quarto uomo e per fortuna la giacca mi ha salvato”.

Le condizioni di Maignan:

“Sicuramente ad Udine credo non ci sia, il polpaccio è molto pericoloso. Terracciano ha fatto un buon esordio a San Siro, sono molto contento, abbiamo Torriani che è molto bravo. L’importante è lavorare di squadra come stasera, poi anche nelle difficoltà è importante avere questo spirito giusto, un passettino alla volta”.

Sugli scambi di ruolo tra i centrocampisti:

“Sono giocatori che hanno questo tipo di queste caratteristiche, si muovono quando ti marcano ad uomo e ce l’hanno come caratteristiche”.

“Luka is an extraordinary player, it’s a pleasure to watch him play, he’s a truly humble guy. He’s wonderful, he knows where the ball will go a minute earlier. All the guys played a great match, it was important to win at home without conceding. In tough moments the team stayed compact: in those situations it’s crucial not to fall apart and just let them pass”

On Santi Gimenez:

“He ran a lot, he pressed. He had 2-3 important chances, it’s true, but he wasn’t very sharp after all the work he did for the team. He’s a good guy, he was also technically very good, I’m really pleased”.

The importance of the clean sheet and reading the phases of the match:

“It’s an extraordinary group of guys, they work hard, they don’t complain: we share with the club the goal of returning to play in the Champions League. We must improve, we must not get carried away, we need to keep growing in terms of our play, but we must say that the boys are doing really well. We work every day to improve day by day”.

About taking off his jacket: what happened?

“Nothing special. There was the penalty episode, I argued with the fourth official and luckily the jacket saved me”.

On Maignan’s condition:

“Surely in Udine I don’t think he’ll be there, the calf is very dangerous. Terracciano had a good debut at San Siro, I’m really happy, we also have Torriani who is very good. What matters is working as a team like tonight, then even in difficulties it’s essential to have the right spirit, one small step at a time”.
