In una Milano bollente e con oltre 50 mila spettatori, il Milan si aggiudica il secondo Trofeo Silvio Berlusconi battendo 3-1 il Monza di Alessandro Nesta.

In gol per i rossoneri un frizzantissimo Saelemaekers, Jovic e Reijnders. Da segnalare anche i buoni esordi di Morata e Pavlovic.

Buona prestazione dei ragazzi di Fonseca, nonostante i ritmi blandi per il caldo e per i carichi in vista dell'inizio della Serie A. Tante rotazioni, con ben 23 ragazzi in campo. Da registrare purtroppo l'uscita del campo anzitempo per Jimenez. Sul suo infortunio seguiranno aggiornamenti.
