L'Al-Hilal sta intensificando il pressing per Theo Hernandez: al terzino francese è stata proposta una cifra di 18 milioni di euro all’anno, mentre al Milan è stato offerto un corrispettivo di 20 milioni per il trasferimento. Il club rossonero giudica la proposta ancora insufficiente, ma è lo stesso Theo a nutrire dubbi sulla destinazione saudita. Il giocatore, infatti, resta in attesa di un eventuale interessamento – finora non pervenuto – da parte di uno dei top club del continente europeo.

Qual è lo scenario attuale in casa Milan sul fronte mercato?
“Dalle informazioni che ho raccolto, la società ha una strategia chiara: l'intenzione è prima di monetizzare attraverso delle cessioni per poi reinvestire, cercando di costruire per Allegri un organico adatto al suo stile di gioco, con moduli come il 4-3-3 o il 4-2-3-1. Gli incontri avvenuti oggi, specialmente con l’agente di Theo, sono stati fondamentali per comprendere le reali intenzioni del giocatore e trovare una soluzione che possa soddisfare tutte le parti coinvolte. In concreto, Theo, legato al club fino al 2026, vorrebbe un nuovo contratto con uno stipendio tra i 7 e gli 8 milioni: si tratta di cifre che il Milan non è disposto a riconoscergli, anche alla luce di una stagione non brillante. Resta comunque un calciatore di rilievo internazionale: l’offerta araba è molto interessante, ma Theo preferirebbe valutare opzioni provenienti dai grandi club europei. Durante il confronto tra Quilon e Tare sono stati esaminati i numeri di una possibile operazione in uscita. L’obiettivo condiviso è evitare che il giocatore lasci a parametro zero, con danni economici per il club”.

Theo appare titubante riguardo all’Arabia?
“La proposta è arrivata da Al-Hilal, la squadra in cui milita Milinkovic-Savic. È un’offerta concreta e di rilievo, ma credo che Theo voglia attendere. Siamo ancora all’inizio della finestra di mercato e lui ha un certo margine di controllo: il suo contratto scade tra un anno e potrebbe, teoricamente, chiedere cifre anche più alte in futuro. È per questo che il Milan sta cercando di capire se ci sono reali interessi da parte di big europee. La possibile cessione di Theo potrebbe anche scongiurare la necessità di sacrificare altri elementi della rosa che il club considera fondamentali. Non è che il Milan non voglia trattenere Theo Hernandez, ma la situazione contrattuale è particolarmente complessa e le sue richieste economiche sono elevate. In Italia nessuno può garantirgli 7-8 milioni annui: o accetta l’Arabia con cifre superiori, oppure si aprono scenari con club come la Premier League, il Real Madrid o il Bayern Monaco, le uniche realtà in grado di soddisfarlo”.

“From what I’ve gathered, the club has a clear plan: they intend to sell and generate income first, and then reinvest in the market to build a squad tailored to Allegri’s footballing philosophy, whether that’s a 4-3-3 or a 4-2-3-1 setup. Today’s meetings, particularly with Theo’s agent, were aimed at clarifying his intentions and finding a solution that works for everyone. What does that mean? Theo, whose contract expires in 2026, is seeking a new deal worth 7-8 million euros a year: these are substantial figures that Milan cannot and does not want to match, especially considering that last season wasn’t his best. He remains an international-level player: a significant offer has arrived from Saudi Arabia, but Theo wants to wait for potential interest from top European teams. During the talks between Quilon and Tare, some numbers regarding a possible transfer were discussed. The shared goal is to avoid losing the player on a free transfer, which would cause financial damage to Milan”.

Theo doesn’t seem too keen on a move to Saudi Arabia?
“The offer came from Al-Hilal, the team where Milinkovic-Savic plays. It’s a serious and concrete proposal, but I believe Theo wants to hold off for now. We’re only at the beginning of the transfer window, and he has, in a way, the upper hand: his contract expires in a year, and by then, he could potentially demand even more. That’s why Milan is trying to assess whether there’s genuine interest from any of Europe’s elite clubs. Theo’s possible sale might also prevent the need to offload other key players. It’s not that Milan doesn’t want to keep Theo Hernandez, but his contractual situation is highly complicated and his salary expectations are very high. No Italian club can afford to offer 7-8 million a year, so either he accepts the higher figures from Saudi Arabia, or the only feasible alternatives are clubs from the Premier League, Real Madrid, or Bayern Munich, which are capable of meeting those demands”.
